UPCOMING WORKSHOPS

USCRI’s Refugee Youth Resource Center (RYRC) provides training and technical assistance to build the capacity of providers working with refugee children and other ORR-eligible youth populations, including refugee resettlement agencies, child welfare, anti-trafficking, health/mental health, community based organizations, government, legal, and other providers. Our goal is to improve outcomes for refugee children and youth by enhancing the knowledge, skills, and service provision of the professionals who serve them, through information, resources, training, and specialized support for providers.

Our offerings include:

  • Monthly webinars for refugee-serving agencies on topics covering child welfare best practices, trauma-informed care, and more
  • Targeted workshop presentations for individual organizations, tailored to meet your team’s unique needs
  • Individualized technical assistance and capacity-building sessions with an RYRC Subject Matter Expert specialized in child welfare, behavioral health, and/or refugee resettlement
  • E-learning courses designed to educate professionals on working effectively with refugee youth
