Join us for an upcoming training workshop presented by USCRI’s Refugee Youth Resource Center!
This 1.5-hour training is intended for service providers working with refugee and other ORR-eligible children and youth, including resettlement agencies, child welfare, schools, health/mental health providers, anti-trafficking organizations, and others.
By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:
• Identify common forms of sex and labor trafficking of refugee and newcomer children and youth in the U.S.
• Recognize warning signs of trafficking and risk factors unique to refugee and other newcomer youth.
• Use trauma-informed approaches for assessment, safety planning, and developing a multidisciplinary support network for youth survivors of trafficking.
• Understand the OTIP Request for Assistance (RFA) process, the benefits accessed through the HHS Eligibility Letter, and services available for youth survivors of trafficking.
